Da Nang International Airport: The sensible transfer is a hotel-arranged shared shuttle (about 45–60 minutes; roughly 130,000 VND per person in the latest local guidance) or a pre-agreed private car/Grab. Budget roughly 300,000–500,000 VND for a car, depending on pickup point and time. Agree a fixed fare before getting in; airport taxis and drivers who detour via stone-souvenir shops are not the bargain.
Da Nang Railway Station: This is usually the useful rail arrival, since more trains stop here than at Trà Kiệu. Take a Grab or pre-booked car directly to Hoi An: around 45–60 minutes, with private-car pricing broadly similar to the airport run. Do not count on a convenient rail-to-Hoi-An connection: Hoi An has no railway station.
Trà Kiệu Railway Station: Only use it if your particular train stops there and you have arranged onward transport. It is about 15 km by road from Hoi An; a Grab has been reported around 80,000–100,000 VND, but availability is thinner than at Da Nang station. It is a practical shortcut, not a station to plan a whole itinerary around.
